Owner/legal review required before public mobile release. This draft is based on the app's current product behavior and is not legal advice.
Outsies works best when everyone treats each other with respect. These guidelines apply to activities, group chat, direct messages, profiles, and any other content you create. We may restrict or remove content and accounts that break these guidelines.
Be respectful
Treat other people the way you want to be treated. Harassment, bullying, threats, hate, and discrimination are not allowed.
Meet in public places
Activities must be at public meeting places such as parks, plazas, or venue entrances. Never create an activity at a home address or another private residence.
Be accurate
Describe your activity honestly. Do not post misleading details, impersonate someone, or create spam or scams. Provide accurate account and profile information.
Keep communication in Outsies
Coordinate through the app so reports can be investigated. In-app messages can be preserved as moderation evidence when you report.
Respect consent
Only join people who accept you, and respect hosts' approval decisions. Do not share another person's personal information without their permission.
Report problems
If someone is unsafe or inappropriate, use the in-app report tools. Reports are private and include moderation evidence. Block people you do not want to hear from.
Consequences
Content and accounts that violate these guidelines may be restricted or removed. Serious or repeated violations may lead to account suspension or termination.
Staying safe
These guidelines help, but they do not replace good judgment. Always meet in public, control your own transportation, and trust your instincts. Read the Safety page for more guidance.
